About Leigh Glover
Leigh Glover is a British artist whose passion is painting, which he uses to communicate and advocate for important causes. His work celebrates landscapes, nature, wildlife, and gardens, celebrating the beauty and value of the natural world.
Creativity is central to his practice, enabling him to explore colour, form, and composition while aiming to entertain, engage, and inspire the viewer.
Born in England, he studied at Oxford Brookes University and Heatherley School of Fine Art in London. His work has been exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (2008), Royal Society of Portrait Painters (2009), Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize (2010), BP Portrait Award (2011), and the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition (2014). He also participated in Landscape Artist of the Year (episode 5, 2019).
His work is held in collections including the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers, Windsor Museum and Library, and private collections in the UK, France, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States.
